evaluationsand/orTIPmustbemadeformallyinwritingwithinfifteen(15)daysofreceiptofthecompletedevaluationandcompositeratingof
teachereffectiveness,orfromthedistrict'sissuanceandorimplementationofthetermsoftheTeacherImprovementPlan.Notificationofthe
appealshallbeprovidedtotheSuperintendentofSchools,thePrincipaland/orSuperintendent’sdesignee.Anappealmaynotbedecidedby
thesameindividualwhowasresponsibleformakingthefinalratingdecision.Insuchcase,theBoardofEducationshallappointadesigneeto
decidetheappeal.DesigneeswillbetrainedleadevaluatorsfromONCBOCES’componentdistricts(inclusiveofretireesfromthese
componentdistricts).Whenfilinganappeal,theteachermustsubmitadetailedwrittendescriptionofthespecificareasofdisagreementover
hisorhercompletedevaluationandanyadditionaldocumentsorwrittenmaterialsthatarespecifictothepoint(s)ofdisagreementand/orare
