Issue/Background Dr. La Serna will provide the annual update to the Board of Trustees on the College of the Sequoias high school partnerships:
• Visalia Technical Education Center (VTEC) – Vicki Porter • University Preparatory High School (UPHS) – Eric Thiessen • College of the Sequoias Pathway to College-- Kristin Robinson, Ph.D., Provost,
Hanford Educational Center and Stephanie Collier, Dean, Arts and Letters The presentation includes highlights of each program, enrollment numbers and the number of dual enrolled graduates who attend College of the Sequoias. Recommended Action No action is required.

From the UPHS class of 2013, 10 of 36 graduates enrolled at COS for the 2013 – 2014 school year.
From the UPHS class of 2014, 35 of 51 graduates enrolled at COS for the 2014 – 2015 school year.

Three highlights for UPHS
1. In 2015 our first stduent graduated from COS and UPHS the
same year.
2. Beginning with the class of 2018, our current sophomores,
students are required to complete 20 college credits as a part
of our high school graduation requirements.
3. Beginning in fall of 2015, all foreign language requirements for
UPHS students will be completed through COS courses.
