CANISTERCanisters provide multiple antennas into one attractive package. These canisters deliver an elegant macro solutions for pole-top, rooftop and streetworks applications. Alpha Wireless produces the highest performance, smallest diameter canister in the marketplace.

The AW3363 AltaFlex canister houses both high and low band Tri-sector an-tennas. It handles all of Sprint’s spectrum in one package.

The AW3540 provides two antennas in one package. These antennas produce a “bow-tie” pattern. This antenna is well suited for providing coverage along rural highways.

CONCEALMENTTraditional mobile networks were designed for voice call continuity and princi-pally relied on macro sites. The seemingly insatiable demand for data requires cell splitting at a much finer level, placing network access points closer to the subscriber. The capacity and the ability to contour coverage with Band 41 makes it ideal for network densification. Network access points will be closer to where subscribers live, work and play. The CONCEALMENT set of solutions are designed to minimize the visual impact to the community. These solutions will enable Sprint to reduce the rent, backhaul and potentially power costs. They will help drive increased revenue.

Product HistorySolution was created to comply with FCC OTARD require-ments to accelerate mini macro deployments on rooftop locations. Key objective was to provide an integrated solution 1 meter or less which would be easily and quickly deployable. This solution meets those criteria as well as reduces both CapEx and deployment times by more than 50%.

Application NotesProduct is preassembled before transporting to site location. Site BOM requires rCAN, skid mount (included in kit), Mini Macro Radio, and Backhaul IMN products.

Solution includes power distribution, grounding, POE cable, RF jumper cables, GPS, and radio brackets.

Pseudo omni pattern with fixed T6º down tilt.

Rooftop deployment option, rCAN can be mounted directly to metal pole with included adapter bracket.

The solu-tion feeds into an Alpha Wireless 2 port (AW3477-S1-G) or 4 port (AW3613-S1-G) pseudo Omni antenna with integrated GPS antenna.
