TIC of Salacgrīva has developed in 1994 and it was the first TIC in Latvia.

• Tasks and responsibilities = all inclusive

• Marketing, paper-work, budget, participation in board meetings, soc. networks., homepage administration, customer service, development, cooperation-enhancing activities, object inspection, business counseling, student counseling, souvenirs, projects etc.

Agreement was signed on 28 of May in 2013

On May 28 in campsite «Lauču Stone» five coastal Municipalities of Vidzeme territory (Aloja, Carnikava, Limbaži, Salacgrīvas and Saukrasti) and the Environmental Protection Authority entered into a mutual agreement for tourism development. The agreement calls for joint cooperation targeted to promote tourism in Vidzeme coastline, moving Vidzeme Coast for the appropriate target markets as a single tourist destination.
