April 2018 Yellow Pages Highlights from Community Life Ballot sign up for trips adversed this month will start Tuesday, April 3 at 10:00 unl the morning of Thursday, April 5. Then the sign up sheets will be at the Front Desk. CarFit Event Mountain View Church, Boulder Community Health and Frasier together host a CarFit Event in Mtn. View Church's parking lot on Saturday, April 7 from 9 am to 1 pm. CarFit is an educaonal program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them. A proper fit in one's car can greatly increase not only the driver's safety but also the safety of others. At a CarFit event, a team of technicians and/or health professionals work with each parcipant to ensure they "fit" their vehicle properly for maximum comfort and safety. The CarFit program also provides informaon and materials on community-specific resources that could enhance their safety as drivers, and/or increase their mobility in the community. Frasier Volunteer Recognion Event We will honor and celebrate our volunteers from all across our campus (both residents and outside volunteers) with the theme: Volunteers Light Our Way on Tuesday, April 24th from 4:306:00 in the Dining Room with tasty food, music by Victor Mestas Quartet and a program in which we will honor Volunteer Luminaries, and announce the Bey and Bill Fischer Service to Community Award winner. BDT Stage Presents: AlwaysPatsy Cline Based on the true story of Patsy Clines friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger who first heard Cline on the Arthur Godfrey Showand became an immediate and avid fan of Clines . In 1961 when Cline went to Houston for a show, Seger and her buddies arrived about an hour-and-a-half early and, by coincidence, met Cline and struck up a friendship that lasted unl Clines unmely death in a plane accident.
