Dear Families,
As we enter the month of April, I still become emotional with memories of all my son
Ronald, has accomplished at Panther Run Elementary. Being a student in a cluster
classroom, this month in particular is very dear to my heart as my family, friends and
I try to bring awareness about autism.
I am so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff that practice inclusion and empa-
thy every day for all our special needs students and of course our great principal and
her staff as well.
It is so important to be supportive as numbers grow each year. With that being said,
please donate to a cause today. And when you make purchases on Amazon, please go
to smile.amazon.com instead, and choose Panther Run Elementary PTA (Pembroke
Pines) as your charitable organization so that with the portion of profits donated back
to us, we can continue to buy items needed for our special needs team as well. Thank
you in advance for your support!
A HUGE congrats to Ms. Saef, for being nominated ‘Principal of the Year’- even
though to US, she is always our principal of the year!
Please make sure to check your calendars in the coming weeks as we prepare for
many events such as Volunteer Breakfast, Family Night at Target, Teacher Apprecia-
tion Week, Spring Book Fair, PTA Elections, Spring Concert and more! We’ve got
lots of fun things before we wrap up yet another great school year and don’t forget to
please support the 5th grade picnic as we are diligently preparing to celebrate our 5th
graders for a whole day. Volunteers are greatly needed and SO much appreciated!!!
Thank you all!

Support our A-Team!!!
Please help us support our Special Needs A-Team and their Teachers/Staff by purchasing a book! One of our very own Autism Team students recently
illustrated this book, “How to be a Super Sibling”- written by his mom in collabora-tion with his Super Siblings. -April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day -April 10th is National Siblings Day …which makes this book a perfect gift! How to help raise funds for Panther Run Elementary when purchasing this book? 1) Go to smile.amazon.com 2) Choose Panther Run Elementary PTA (Pembroke Pines) as your charitable organization 3) Purchase your book or gift it to a Super Sibling you may know *Amazon will donate a portion of the price to Panther Run Elem. PTA and we will use this to buy items needed for our Special Needs A-Team!
*Remember: if you want Amazon to donate to Panther Run Elem., you need to start each shopping session at the URL http://smile.amazon.com for this and future purchases.
