It was created by presidential decree on May 13, 2000 The SFD is made up of 12 federal subjects of the Russian Federation. The area of the SFD accounts for 30% of Russian territory and has a population of 20,06 million. • Gross Regional Product accounts for 11,4% of
Russia’s GDP. • The Districts share in Russia’s total industrial
