Thermal energy – heat and energy from thermal water is used for:

heating of pools and using thermal water in pools

heating of all premises via floor heating and fan coils

pre-heating of drinking water in bathrooms via heat exchangers

Heat pumps – energy from cooled water is used in heat pumps for pools, floor heating and fan coils again

Heat pumps are modern, progressive and ecological source of energy

Solar energy – photovoltaic cells located on the facade of Blue Sapphire pools produce clean electricity

Cogeneration units – can run on natural gas or bio gas and produce electricity and heat heat as a by-product is used in our heating system progressive and environmentally friendly source of electricity and heat (in proportion 1:2)

During this presentation only would nearly 500 kg of CO2 be produced if AquaCity would not

utilise thermal and solar energy.
