To celebrate Arbor Day and the City of Austin’s 23rd year as a Tree City USA community, the City of Austin is partnering with TreeFolks to host a tree planting and family iendly Arbor Day event at the Boggy Creek Greenbelt. Volunteers will plant 80 native trees and mulch existing trees at the park. There will be a brief ceremony to recognize the partners of the city’s Urban Forestry program, an Arbor Day Proclamation, and live music.
