The task was to design a multi-purpose building for university’s edu-cational and recreation park in Kapintoniškės. The whole territory is in regional park and university require a educational centre, a hotel for students and small houses.

I have chosen an educational centre because it requires include spa, cof-fee, small classes for workshops and big audience for 300 people.

The idea is that the whole builidng is adapted to the area and every vol-ume has its own funcion. Building is incoporated in the forest and cre-ates plazas, terrases for people.

house for alvy singer5th semester workuniversidad politecnica de valencialocation: valencia, spainyear: 2010type: singel family housetutor: pasqual salles

The client is Alvy Singer who lives in New. He does not like to be recog-nized that’s why he decided to spend some quiet time in Spain.

The house is designed in nice neighborhood in Spain. The site has pre-served the antique building. Campanar is unique because it has an old square with in front of the church.

The house is in the small street where the traffic is minimum. The house is located between two others buildings which architecture is typical to the site. The goal was to design a modern house which would suit for the site.

The house is two floors with an attic. The elevations are not higher than the neighbors and like the rest of the area has two slopes roof. The connection between the house and patio is very strong –the dining area can be a dining room or outside terrace. The house has a strong axe which divides the space in two parts: living spaces and in other is locat-ed stairs, bathrooms, closets.

The idea is to expand the patio as much as it is possi-ble and to make that part as a connection between the house and the patio

The house is designed to separate the relax space from the technical part of the house.

The house is design with a wide terrace from which the client can see the church tower.

Britz is located in Berlin, Germany. It was designed in 1920 by gtretest Berlin architect. It is known as the Hufeisenseiflung (eng.: Hourse shoe) and it is a part of Unesco as the Berlin modernism of housing estate since 2008.

The urban design is asumetric and organic. It is bases on 3 natural lakes and which were turned to a green areas. On the axe of two lakes is designed school of the are and sport facilities.

Main Axes The main layout of horse shoe housing project is created by intersection of 3 main transport axes and by one green axe. In our adaptation we used the idea of ontersection of transport and green axes.Consequently we were abel to connect our designed green axe with already existing green zone.

In the horse shoe housing project the green areas are natural areas. These green spaces are also serving as a link to reach public spaces such a school. In our adaptation we also preserved already existing green areas and it becames the green link for the rest of the city and new urban area. There are also public facilities as commercial space and shools.

Housing units In Britz housing develpments blocks are created in a way to create and embrase green areas and spaces which are peaceful. They are also blocking the main circulation of transport. In our proposal we used higer blocks to prevent the penetra-tion of the noise of highway. By lowering the blocks towards theexisting green area, we created a smooth trasition with a calmer space.

Making process is simple, does not require special manufacturing process and is not expensive.1. The rope needs to be untwined into 3 small ropes2. The pattern of main rope is still seen on small ropes3. The wire cannot be too thick but still strong4. All around the wire small ropes are entwined into one

The task was to renovate one of the universities’s building yard. At the moment this ward is full with cars and not used by students. No proper car parking or any seating place.

The idea was to create an organic yard with amphitheatre or a place for coffee terrace. Unused building is incorporated as coffee and small hostel. The idea was to attract young people not only for studying but also for free time. The platform is organic and mix use. One side is for theatre and other for Skate Park.
