The task of the project was to rethink
and redesign the relationships inside
of the existing campus of Politecnico
di Milano and to create a new vision
of a sustainable campus. The name
of the project “Fluidscape” comes
from the idea of working on physical
and infrastructural connections
inside of the campus as connections
between the users, spaces and
existing routes. Physical boundaries
and obstacles are perceived as
the main issue in the area, which
immediately imposes obstacles in
communication and life between its
daily users - students. The solution
proposed in the project is to enhance
sustainability by doing projects on
the existing campus ground and
area: on rooftops, in the couryards
and between the existing buildings.
In that way the new buildings serve

as an “addition” to the existing ones
with both the activities they hold
and the new working spaces they
create for the users. The connection
of these new structures is the main
road that passes through the campus
and becomes pedestrian while
hosting new temporary activities
related to the student workshops and
exhibitions.

Because of the defined structure
and scenery of the neighbourhood,
as well as its lack of basic public
facilities, the aim of the project
for this elementary school was
to create a space that would in
itself incorporate all of the school
facilities - the outer and the inside
ones, while enabling the other
residents of the area to use the
same ones while the school is
closed (library, dining hall, sports
fields…). All of the open spaces
were designed as areas inside of
the building that in the same time
provide additional lighting to the
classrooms and hallways. The spaces
that were planned to be visited by
other users were brought together
to form a single volume that stands
out of the building with its shape
and content.

The idea for this family house
came out directly from the
desires of the supposed investors,
a family consisting of parents and
two teenaged children. Suiting
the needs of the family, the house
had to be, at the same time,
introverted and extroverted, while
providing a highly flexible interior,
making it a possible home with
two separated apartments for 3
generations of the same family.
The walls looking towards the
atrium and terrace are completely
transparent, and those oriented
towards the surroundings are
opened with windows with
specially designed sun protective
panels that entirely match
the rest of the facade, thus
materializing the main concept of
the house.

both of which belong to the sphere

The crucial part of the project is the
continuous dialogue between the

between reality and fiction.

LiqArt is a yearly festival in
Fornovo Taro (Italy) that is trying
to enhance the collaboration
between designers/artists and
shop retailers. Our idea was
totransform shop window of the
Panetteria di Cassio into a little
museum of inventions created
using the bakery bag, at least for
two days. The bakery bag is an
everyday object that we always
throw away after using it, but
that can be recycled to create new
products. These objects show a
new way of reuse and recycle.
We produced also a series of
postcards with the instructions
explaining you how to recreate
them easily at home. A different
point of view to stop our hand
from discarding tools, and to
stimulate a conscious creativity.

Since the installment of the
play was postponed to next
year, we prepared an exhibition
of the work we did for the
award winning ceremony of
the competition. We prepared a
short video with the animation
of the scenes from the play we
coordinated with the director, as
well as the presentation of the set
design and the costumes.
We also did a prototype of the
costume for the character of
Giulia which was worn and
presented by an actress floowed
by a reading of the chosen

The assignment for designing this
set of lockers had more a spatial
than functional value. A large
open-space was to be divided into
more private working sections
and separated from the corridor
and private offices, while still
maintaining a visual connection
with its surroundings. These
requests had to meet the workers’
needs concerning the size and the
partitions of the locker spaces
inside of a single module. The
materials for the construction
were chosen so as to match those
of the existing lockers and closets
in the office areas.

The requirements for this
competition task were to design a
project for a educational complex
consisting of an elementary
school, kindergarten and a sports
gym with swimming pool and
a basketball court. The other
requirement was to design also a
public green garden on the same
lot to be used by the residents
of Geneve. The site prepared for
the project is long and narrow in
its width. Our project proposal
was to keep as much as ground
floor as possible for the public
space and to design the school
classrooms underground, with
3 main volumes above the
ground level: sports gym, school
administration and kindergarten.
The school classrooms have
their own courtyard in the

underground patios, thus clearly
divided from the public garden
above in the ground floor level.
All of them are patio oriented
and receive enough light no
matter what time of day it is. The
kindergarten and the gym access
are separated from the school
one, and also have their own open
spaces independent from the
public and the school ground.
