We take our coffee seriously. That’s why we’ve got ethically sourced and fairly traded coffee available. Help yourself to it at any time. Our treat. Coffee & Connection Time is what we call the ten-minute
break during our gathering. This gives adults a chance to refill their coffee while kids get to their classrooms.
Kids @ the Ridge is our toddler to Grade 6 program where kids learn to love God with their whole self. Classes start when children are dismissed from the main gathering at Coffee & Connection Time. A parent participatory nursery is available at any time on the north side of the Banquet Hall. To find out more or to register your child, please visit the check-in table at the Welcome Centre.
Want someone to pray with you? We’ll have people who can pray with you available at the end of our gathering. You can tell them as much or as little as you’d like. They won’t be nosy and they’ll keep it to themselves.

Benevolence OfferingOn communion Sundays, we provide an opportunity for you to give to JRCC’s Benevolence Fund which is used to resource people facing various life challenges. If you’d like to help, write “benevolence” on your offering envelope, tell our Welcome Centre host you’d like to make a donation via debit, or indicate your gift designation via e-mail ([email protected]) following an online gift.
Harper Family DedicationTyler and Carmen Harper will be dedicating their son to the Lord during today’s worship gathering. Alister Edmund was born on July 2, 2015 and he has given them even more reasons to praise God.

BBQ & Baptism – TODAY!Join us for a BBQ potluck dinner this afternoon followed by a baptism in the Fraser River. We’ll be meeting at the Marpole Picnic Shelter at Derby Reach beginning at 5 p.m. The hospitality team will be providing burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings. Please bring a potluck item to add to the spread (last names A-H please bring dessert, I-R salad or veggie plate, S-Z chips). We will be going ahead rain or shine (there is a covered picnic shelter). See you there!
Big Cook – June 16Here’s a fun and easy way to do food prep with others so that delicious meals can be frozen, stored, and distributed at a later date to those in need. Our next Big Cook event is on Thursday, June 16 from 6-9 p.m. at Cheryl Wiens’ home. Bring your meal supplies with you and prepare your dish while you visit with friends! Please register online or contact Cheryl Wiens ([email protected]) for more info.
House of Hope Service Day – June 25We have a Saturday service day planned at the House of Hope each month and we encourage you to get these dates on to your calendars so that you can help out. Join us on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. All of the House of Hope Service Day dates are posted online www.jerichoridge.com/calendar/ and you can sign up on the board at the Welcome Centre. Prayer Requests We have a group of around 50 people from JRCC who receive e-mail requests from those in our church community. You can submit a prayer request to this group whenever you’d like by e-mailing [email protected]. You can also ask to be put on the group list so that you can pray for others as requests are sent out.

Our volunteers have worked hard all year to provide a safe, fun, and spirit filled environment for them to worship and meet with God together. We want to give them a big Thank You for their hard work and commitment!
Sunday Cinema Volunteers NeededEach summer (June 26-Sept 4) K@TR moves to a more relaxed and parent participatory format called Sunday Cinema. We still have lots of volunteer spots open and would love to have you come and sign up to help once or twice with our kids age 18 months to grade 1. The prep is small and the time is fun. We watch a movie based lesson, have a coloring or craft option, some games, and lots of play time together. Contact Ruth Ellen ([email protected]) or go to the K@TR check-in table to sign up or find more information
School’s Out @ Playland – June 24A celebration for the beginning of summer! Playland opens its doors to all youth groups for a night of rides, games, music, and fun! $25 gets you into Playland and allows you to ride all the rides. If you want to purchase snacks then you will need extra money. The event goes from 7 p.m. until midnight. If you are in grades 7-12 and want to join the fun or if you are an adult and willing to help drive our youth, contact Mike ([email protected]) for more info or to reserve a spot!
