LEARNING TYPES

LEARNING PATHAn organized collection of self-guided and instructor-led

sessions intended to guide users through training offerings

for a specific client type and/or skill level.

INSTRUCTOR-LED SESSIONThese sessions are facilitated by an instructor in a virtual

classroom and require using your computer, internet

connection and a telephone. Live Meeting log in information

with teleconferencing number and passcode will be emailed

by your instructor approximately 24 hours prior to your

session start time.

You will have an opportunity for a hands-on practice

exercise during the class, so please have access to

Arianna during these training sessions.

RECORDED SESSION These sessions are taken at your own pace anytime and

are presented in a movie-like format including audio with

chapter navigation, user controls and session notes. If

you are connecting to this learning event via VPN or low

speed internet you may experience pauses in the streaming

of the video. To optimize the audio portion, please use a

high quality headset (with the volume set to low) or your

computer’s speaker.

ARIANNA: OVERVIEW RECORDED SESSION – 60 MINUTES

Arianna is an extremely powerful desktop application that

has the unique ability to manipulate data within an analysis

without having to regenerate. Packed with eight different

data modules, Arianna is equipped with the tools to create,

save and print numerous overnight analyses. This tutorial

gives a high-level introduction to the Arianna software

application. In this course, you’ll learn how to:

• A description of Arianna

• A tour of the main workspace

• The various sections of a completed report

• Tips on working with report formats .

ARIANNA: GRIDS RECORDED SESSION – 60 MINUTES

Arianna has many modules that produce customized

overnight data, but the Grids module is the one that

is commonly used to get overnight quarter hour data.

The Grids online session offers an overview of how

daily or multi-day grids can be produced in Arianna.

• Create daily and multi-day grids with values for

both programs and dayparts in the same report

• Set up the task scheduler to run on a daily, weekly,

how to create an Audience Composition and automatically

graph the results. Arianna reports data for demographics

in LPM Markets and allows you to analyze the

demographic makeup of the viewing to a program.

In this video quick tip, you’ll learn how to use the

AWS File Manager which allows you to manage your

In this video quick tip, you’ll learn how to create an

analysis of any groups of dates i.e. Nielsen sweeps,

sweep weeks, etc. and display them side-by-side with

you to group dates together and treat the group as a

single period in an analysis.
