Cancellation PolicyIf you wish to cancel your participation in an instructor-led training session, you mustrequest cancellation in writing and must receive written acknowledgement of yourcancellation for the cancellation to be confirmed and to avoid a fee. Participants who do not show up for class and who do not have a training cancellationconfirmation will incur 100% of the course fee or the equivalent of one training seat/creditper course day.
If fewer than four (4) students are enrolled in an instructor-led course, ARRIS may cancelthat training course. Enrolled students will be offered a selection of future scheduled dates.
When a course is cancelled, enrolled students will be notified of the cancellation via email aminimum of two weeks before the start of the course.

PrerequisitesIt is the student's responsibility to ensure that s/he has the proper prerequisite knowledgeand skills before taking an ARRIS training course. Students that do not meet the targetaudience description or have the prerequisite level of knowledge required for the coursemay find the course content too difficult, too easy, and/or inappropriate depending on their job and level of experience. All prerequisites are listed in the individual course descriptionsin this catalog. Since ARRIS instructor-led training courses require you to completeprerequisite courses to ensure a successful experience, reservations for these courses willnot be finalized until all prerequisites have been met.

DescriptionARRIS DOCSIS CMTS Operator certification provides an acknowledgment by ARRIS that acandidate has successfully demonstrated sufficient DOCSIS® technical knowledge and ARRISproduct knowledge to earn the designation, “ARRIS Certified DOCSIS CMTS Operator.” Togain certification, candidates must read and accept the terms and conditions of theCertification Candidate Agreement and pass two online, proctored exams: one exam testingknowledge of DOCSIS technology, and one testing specific knowledge of an ARRIS CMTSproduct. Exams are “open book,” and you can use specifications, product documentation,training materials, or other reference materials while taking web-based tests.
Training courses are available and recommended but are not required to take certificationexams. Candidates with confidence in their knowledge of DOCSIS technology and the ARRIS
