We want our main character to look psychotic and vulnerable
Kill Bill Why is he about to kill her? With help from the flashbacks, it revealed her past in linked with her present actions
Carrie Why is she washing blood off her body and clothes?
We wanted to show our main character washing off blood to create enigma and suspense
Also, to make the audience question who and why she killed someone.

• The bag creates a sense of secrecy and mystery
Who/what is in the bag for her to throw away?
• This creates a brainteaser for the audience as they search their minds to figure this out.
• Which is a basic convention for the crime thriller
Why does she have blood on her?
• This would build tension which fits into our genre

Our enigmas are suitable for our audience, because:• It fits our crime thriller genre- audience expectation of mystery and suspense.• It allows the audience to think of resolutions to enigmas such as: why is she throwing it into
the canal?• The blood on her face makes the audience think and try to solve the puzzle.
