The Noine St/ Lucia West India’ which unsurprisingly has a confused Post Office sending the article to India where it hasreceived no less than 15 backstamps (along with that of Perth), ultimately an enlightened “No 96665/ Read Proper adress(sic) West Indies” appears on front (Moora datestamp has been ‘enhanced’ in the same pen ink), together with ‘St Lucia/WEST/ INDIES’ in red ink, together with other embellishments, some in Native characters, and a fresh address flap haswisely been affixed to ensure no further confusion. Remarkable origin/ destination item despite some aging. $750
