The note is VG with pin holes, edge nicks, heavy folds and remnants of old tape reinforcement else complete. The vendor of the note claims that the recipient of the note, Daniel Devereux O’Connell, was presented the note for being the youngest bank manager in Victoria at the time, and that the note was carried by O’Connell through France during 1917-1918 in the Great War.
