Tamara Nicole South Author, Poet, Motivational Speaker and Blogger
Tamara Nicole South is the author of Best Book Award Finalist Healing From Within. She was born June 28,1981 in Bronx, NY. She lost her mother at the age of six from AIDS and her father at the age of 13 due to substance abuse. She seeks to help others overcome the bereavement of parents and suicide prevention. She also wants to help young girls discover their hidden beauty in Christ. Tamara received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and received her Masters degree in Sociology of Education from New York University. She was awarded the NAACP Agnes Jones scholarship a member of the National Scholars Honor Society and Sigma Alpha Lambda. Tamara is a motivational speaker and has spoken at different churches and public schools sharing her testimony and poetry. She is a writer for HypeHair magazine, and featured in Ebony magazine, Today, Bronx Press, School Links, 2014 Family Dollar ambassador, Binghamton Press and Connect and have been interviewed on several Radio Shows.
