• Serial data transfer from drive Data from the drive is gathered through the serial port (RS232). This connection does not allow any remote control through the Automated Monitoring Service

• Whitelisting The Siemens Industry Computer (IPC) is pre-installed and complemented with whitelisting software that hardens the BIOS and the installed programs preventing any unauthorized user access or changes.

• Locked cabinet Siemens provides a cabinet for the IPC and related hardware components that can be locked to prevent any unauthorized physical access to the computer.

• Encrypted data transfer to Siemens Expert Center The data is transferred from the onsite IPC to the Siemens Expert Center via ISB (Industry Service Backbone) agent. The ISB client that is installed on the IPC bundles the data and sends it SSL encrypted via HTTPS to the ISB server at the Expert
