Creating a strategic vision for AVA events
Mission• Maximise the number of
people attending our events– Deliver the best value to our
members– Attract, recruit and retain non-
members
Creating a strategic vision for AVA eventsFact:•Delegate targets are important both from a financial aspect and sponsor/exhibitor confidence.•Increased competition – overcrowded CPD market
We need to:•Develop 3 year strategic event plans for AVA, EVA, ASAVA, AVAPM, ACV
– Plans will filter down to other SIGs and Divisions
Currently we are:•Benchmarking - bring all the figures together – Pricing, Content, Sponsorship
– External benchmarking – colleges, London Vet Show, other professions
•Resources – define what we need to achieve mission – marketing, national office support, systems
