The Avery Dennison Foundation Spirit of Invention (InvEnt) Scholarship Program
recognizes and rewards invention, innovation and excellence in high-achieving students
studying in the fields of science, engineering and technology at selected higher education
institutions in India.
Eligible candidates submit an innovative idea/method to solve any existing practical real-
life challenge or issue along with a technological/scientific intervention. These proposals
are assessed by an expert Selection Committee who then shortlist candidates for
interviews and thereafter recommend those with the most practical and value-creating
ideas to be the InvEnt scholars for the year.
In addition to receiving scholarships, scholars are honoured by the Avery Dennison teams
at an award ceremony. They also attend workshops and trainings, and receive continued
support for leadership and innovation development through alumni engagement.
Since 2012 InvEnt has supported 95 young men and women from India to avail of this
program. We are delighted to bring together for the first time several alumni from the
previous years to join the 2021 scholars and discuss potential ways to build and strengthen
the InvEnt Alumni Network in India. This Directory is a compilation of useful information on
the alumni we have been able to reach out to as well as the 2021 winners.

have partnered with us and given their time and support to this program over the years.
