It is my pleasure to inform you that, the formation of Karnataka
Arya Vysya Community Development Corporation formed by
Government of Karnataka under the able leader
Dr. T.A. Sharavana, MLC, and he is the founder Chairman of the
Corporation which is Cabinet Rank. It is one of the achievements by
our community. Hearty congratulation to him.
We are happy to inform that Sri Velampalli Srinivasa Rao has been elected as MLA from
Vijayawada West constituency and became Cabinet Minister for Muzurai of Andhra
Pradesh. Another 4 members from our community are also elected as MLAs of Andhra
Pradesh. Sri Anna Rambabu from Giddalur constituency, Sri Bharath T G from Kurnool
constituency, Sri Kolaghatla Veerabhadraswamy from Vijayanagaram constituency, Sri
Maddali Giridhar from Guntur West constituency. Our congratulations & best wishes for
them.
In the meantime, AVOPA, Bengaluru is also planned to have an event called Shrirasthu
Shubhamasthu (Matrimony Event-8) for brides and bridegrooms to seek their partners
during event on Sunday the 14th July 2019 at Vasavi Convention Hall, Bengaluru. Please
inform the aspirants to register with us by visiting our website www.avopabangalore.org.
We are having very few seats for participants. There is no limit for non-participants. Last
date for enrolment is 30th June 2019. Please utilise the golden opportunity.
AVOPA is organising the Europe tour during the month of September 2019 already good
response from our members. We are arranging tour orientation programme and booking

Dr. A G Govindaraja Setty has delivered a lecture on the topic 'Yoga – The Indian Psycology and a way of Life' in the monthly programme held on 5th May 2019 at AVOPA
office. Dr. Setty gave his lecture in a very systematic way using power point presentation. First, he explained about yoga, then Psychology in general and Indian Psychology in particular. He
explained the different types of mind; Kshipra, Mooda, Vikhipta, Ekagra and Nirudda. He quoted many sutras of Patanjali Yogasutra in explaining the Pyscology. He has also referred to Hatayoga Pradeepika for self barrier. He has also quoted Swetaswatara upanishat and Tittariya Upanishad explaining the details of Pancha Mahokosha as explained through the stories. He has finally established in his scholoraly presentation that yoga is the Indian Pyscology and a way of Life. He has answered all the queries raised by the audience to the best satisfaction. He was welcomed by Sri Jayasimha Setty, Sri T. K. Thimmaraja Setty, Gen. Secretary introduced the guest and also gave his remarks on the subject besides proposing vote of thanks.
