IMPORTANT NOTES Thank you very much for purchasing this product . You are recommended to study this manual carefully before using the unit.This unit could be operated either by a 3V battery or by a 3V center minus DC adaptor.Before connection, please ensure the power supply has been properly installed and all power devi-ces such as amplifiers must first be turned off, in order to avoid any malfunction.Avoid using this unit together with same circuit of electronic products that will generate line noises.

Do not place this unit too close to heat sources such as radiator and amplifier in order to prevent damages like interference.Do not expose this unit under excessive sunlight, water and moisture.

Strong vibration and shock will damage this unit.

Clean this unit with a soft and dry cloth. A slightly dampened cloth with mild detergent might remove stubborn dirt.

Never use thinners and alcohol for cleaning the unit.

Hold the unit firmly while unplugging the cables, never pull the audio cables with stress.

At the main screen, press [MENU] button, the following menu appears. This screen let you select RECORD SETUP by [ ] or [ ] button.

SAMPLE RATE is sample rate parameter .you can use [ ] or [ ] button to choose 44.1kHz or 48kHz(default) samplerate.

REC FORMAT is the parameter for recording format. This product supportsto 9 formats:WAV24bit WAV16bit MP3-320kbpsMP3-224kbps MP3-192kbps MP3-160kbps MP3-128kbps MP3-96kbps and MP3-64kbps .

AUTO GAIN is the switch that adjust input sensitivity use [ ] or [ ] buttonto choose ON or OFF .The default is ON.

RECORDING

At the main screen or file manage screen(FILE) ,press the [REC] button goes into standby record mode.The [REC] button lightens and flashes.

We can see two highlight record levels arescanning. This product detects the level of the currently selected input source. The current file name displays under therecord level (eg:DR2-xxxx.mp3 orDR2-xxxx.wav).

Adjust the record level by pressing

[INPUT LEVEL+] [INPUT LEVEL-]button so that the highlight record levelreaches thehighest level without the peak indicator shown in red turning on .

At the standby condition, Press [PLAY/PAUSE] or [REC] button to start recordingThe [REC] button lightens . the time level begin to increase as recording starts. The time show above indicate the record time, and the time appeals on the right side indicates the time left for record.

Note: the amount of record time available depend on capacity of SD card.

You can also adjust the recording level by [INPUT LEVEL+] or [INPUT LEVEL-] buttonwhile recording.

Note: if you use the input MIC, the sound of pressing the key will simultaneously be recorded.

Adjust the output volume by pressing [VOLUME+] or [VOLUME-] at the left side.

Press [PLAY/PAUSE] button to pause therecording . Press the [PLAY/PAUSE] button again to continue recording.

During recording , press [STOP] button or [REC] button to stop the record, Light on [REC] button darkens,and the file will be saved to the SD card.

SPEAIAL is the special effect open when playback. You can use [ ] or [ ] button to choose bass compensate or 3D effect. Bass compensate can compensate the low frequency signal and 3D effect can offer you a surrounding effect.The default is OFF.

2 SPEAIAL

In Voice Cut, the melody on the mp3 file could be muted, leaving the background music playing. Note:This function will be effective only for the normal mp3 files,and could not be effective if the mp3 file has only one melody track or thebackground is in both 2 tracks.

This product supports playback files of MP3 and WAV .

PLAYBACK

At the home screen, you can use [PLAY/PAUSE] button to start playing the file , press [PLAY/PAUSE] button for the second time to pause the playing , press [PLAY/PAUSE] button for the third time to continue playing. The recorder playback the current song according to the playback setup(ONCE, LOOP, LOOP ALL).

Press [STOP] button to stop the current playing.

You can also playback the file by this way .go into the file manage screen (MENU-FILE), select the file you need and press the[MENU] button.

Choose the OPEN at the files edit

menu and press the [MENU] button to

start playing the selected file.

At the home screen, when file is playing,

press the [F.F] button to go to next file

Press [rewind] button to return to the

beginning of the current file,

Press [rewind] button again to go to

previous file .

While playing,Hold [REWIND] button to fast search to the beginning of the current file.

While playing,Hold [F.F] button to fast search to the end of the current file. Continue holding the

[F.F] button will enter the next file and continue to fast search . If the A-B repeat function is on,

holding the [F.F] button would not exceed the point B.

The A-B repeat function allows you to specify point A and point B and automatically play the section between these two points repeatedly.

While playing, press the [REPEAT A-B] button for the first time to locate the start point for the range to be repeated.

Press the [REPEAT A-B] button for the second time to locate the end point for the range to be repeated .if the point B before point A , the setting will not be saved .
