Quantum View NotifySM

Quantum View Notify is an information-based servicesupported by UPS WorldShip® and UPS Internet Shipping.This time-saving option automatically notifies yourcustomers by e-mail of key events in the progress of yourshipments.• Ship Notification: Includes the date of shipment and the

scheduled date of arrival.• Exception Notification: Provides the rescheduled

delivery date in the event of a delay.• Delivery Notification: Provides the delivery details and

manifest information.There is NO charge for the use of Quantum View Notify.

Additional Charges• UPS reserves the right to institute a fuel surcharge on

all shipments without prior notice.• For each address correction an additional charge of

US$7.50 per correction will apply with a maximum ofUS$35.00 per shipment.

• For each Free Domicile shipment UPS will charge theshipper US$15.00.

• Each package is automatically protected against loss ordamage up to US$100.00. For each shipment with adeclared value over US$100.00, US$0.35 will becharged for each additional US$100.00 or fractionthereof.

• In the event the intended receiver of a Freight Collectshipment refuses to pay the Freight Collect amount, aprocessing fee of US$10.00 will be assessed and billedto the shipper, as well as any other costs incurred forthe return.

• For any shipment to an Extended Area, UPS will chargeUS$20.00 per shipment or US$0.20 per pound,whichever is greater.

• A US$5.00 charge per package will be assessed forFreight Collect shipments or Third Party billing with amissing or invalid account number. Additionally, if theconsignee or Third Party fails to pay the shipping charges,the original shipper will be billed the shipping charges.

Billing OptionsUPS offers various billing options for your internationalshipments:Prepaid: Shipper pays all shipping costs; consignee orimporter pays customs fees and duties. This is the defaultoption.Freight Collect: Consignee or importer pays all shippingcosts, customs fees and duties.Free Domicile: Shipper pays all shipping costs, customsfees and duties.Third Party Billing: The shipping costs are paid by athird party. The third party should be located in the samecountry as the shipper and have a valid UPS account. Thethird party can be located in a different country than theshipper, however certain conditions must apply. Please,call your local office for more information about thespecial conditions.

Any fraction of a pound more than the weight shown requires the next higher rate.

Proof of DeliveryAdult Signature Required: The driver will require the signature of an adult 18/21 years ofage or older at time of delivery. If no adult is available, UPS will make a second or thirddelivery attempt. Indirect deliveries or "deliver to" notes will not be accepted. A US$2.75charge per shipment will be assessed. An adult signature is required when shippinginternational special products such as tobacco and/or alcohol.Signature Required: When the customer selects this service, the driver will require asignature in order to complete the delivery. A US$2.00 charge per shipment will be assessed.

Weight and Size Limits• Maximum weight per package is 150 pounds.• Maximum length per package is 108 inches.• Maximum size per package is 130 inches in length and girth combined.

How to Determine the WeightRates are based on the total actual weight or the total dimensional weight of all packages ina shipment, whichever is greater. Dimensional weight is determined by using the InternationalAir Transport Association (IATA) volumetric standard, which is subject to change withoutnotice.

Dimensional Weight:• Multiply the length by the width by the height (each rounded to the nearest whole inch) of

each package. For a multiple piece shipment, add the results for all the packages together.The total is the cubic size of the shipment.

• Divide the cubic size of the shipment by 166 to determine the dimensional weight inpounds. Increase fractions of a weight to the next full pound. If the resulting dimensionalweight is larger than the actual weight of the shipment, use the dimensional weight tocalculate the rate. Record both in the UPS Waybill.

• Dimensional Weight applies for UPS Worldwide Express PAK, Box, and Tube.

Service Restrictions• The maximum value of a package is US$50,000 and the maximum carrier liability is

US$50,000. Jewelry (other than costume jewelry) is limited to a maximum value ofUS$500 per package.

• APO and FPO addresses are not accepted. A complete and correct postal address isnecessary for all UPS shipments.

• Cash and negotiable instruments are prohibited in UPS services.• Shipping the following items is prohibited in all countries where UPS services are available:

* Certain items may be accepted by UPS on a contractual basis under specific criteria for known shipperswith regular volume and the ability to comply with all applicable regulations. Please contact your local UPSoffice for information about the restrictions on these products. When shipping these items, an adultsignature is required for delivery.

Shipment Pricing• Multiple-package shipments to a single consignee on the same day listed in a

single UPS Waybill.• Shipment pricing does not apply to UPS Express Envelopes and UPS Express PAKS.• To determine the rate for a shipment weighing more than 50 pounds, multiply the total

weight (rounded to the next whole pound) by the appropriate Price per Lb. shown at thebottom of the rate table on this page. The amount billed will be the result of thiscalculation or the minimum rate shown, whichever is greater.
