Pagaqui started its activities in the beginning of 2014. Operating in the cash payments sector,

it offers the following services: Payment of utility bills; Recharge of prepaid mobile phones

(national and international); Online shopping/e-vouchers payment; Purchase of public transport

tickets and tickets for shows, theaters, concerts and other events.

Payments Collection through agreements with retailers, typically newsagents/tabacconists,

supermarkets, petrol stations; currently 3.300 covering the whole country.

With 30 employees, Pagaqui has its own in-house IT development team, responsible for the

developing all the software used in its business. All applications and software are certified and

comply with the norms and requirements of the supervisory authority, the Bank of Portugal.

Business Activity

Pagaqui has already carried out more than

3,5 million transactions since January

2014, collecting a total of 32,8 M€ until

August 2016, increased by 3 million card

acquiring transactions in Tolls on a total

of 11,5 M€.

In 2016, Pagaqui was awarded three

contracts, on public transport tickets and

tolls, wich on the whole represent expected

collections of 50 M€ over the next's 12

months.

development of Cartrack S.A., currently market leader in Portugal. He also paved the way for European expansion. João was responsible for the

structuring and development of two Biotechnology companies, in the collection and processing of stem cells and bio materials. João initially built his

reputation across various financial institutions.

CFO at PAGAQUI, manages all financial and administrative activity.

Has over 24 years experience in the financial sector. In the last decade, has undertaken senior positions ( Board Member) in financial sector

corporations (asset management and brokerage), as well as ventures in both the health and automobile inspection sectors.
