Be prepared to drop more than 4,000 feet in elevation in 28 miles. Trip in-cludes transportation, guide, support staff, bike rental, and a snack lunch for a fee of $25 per person.
May 18 - Turkey Hunting Three days of bow or shotgun turkey hunting at beautiful Eagle Canyon Hideaway near lake McConaughy, NE. The Give Parents A Break Program is May 18,
noon - 4 p.m. and provides free child care to families
under stress with children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Circum-
stances include separation due to deployment, remote tours,
extended training TDY and family stress. Program vouch-ers may be obtained through 1st Sgt, CDC, Youth Center, A&FRC and Mental Health.

May 4, Pottery Planting Pots, Casting Class, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Learn to do cast pottery and make a useable container for your spring and summer displays. The Studio has a variety of sizes and designs from which to choose. There are several Garden Gnomes, Turtles, Sun Plaques and other garden items available to dress up your patio or garden. May 14 - 15, 1 - 4 p.m. and May 16 - 17, 5 - 7 p.m. Watercolor Technique Classes These classes will introduce a range of techniques, color theory, composition and design elements for participants interested in improving their painting and design skills. Color theory and design con-cepts prove helpful in home décor, not just for creating a painting. There are optional times available to ac-commodate work schedules. Advance registration is requested to provide evening Instructor. The cost is $55 and includes instruction, watercolor paper, paints , brushes and additional materials. No studio fee.

May 18, Stained Glass Butter-fly Sun Catcher Workshop, 1 - 4 p.m. Set aside a Saturday just for you! Capture a vibrant glass butterfly in a colorful metal circle to brighten up your windows and your day. Get extra creative and make the butterfly have dimensional wings. The class will require pre-paid registration to provide for enough materials. The cost is $45 and includes instruction, stained glass, metal frame, hang-ers, use of tools and equipment. No studio or instructor fees. Participants in the workshop will learn basic glass cutting, foil technique, soldering and construction. Participants should plan

May 21 - 23, Hand Built Tex-tured Stoneware Pottery Class, 1 - 4 p.m. Bring an old pillow case and let’s flatten some clay, sling it into a creative shape, press in some pat-terns for texture, glaze it and fire it in the kilns and see what turns out! The cost is $25 and includes instruction, clay, two kiln fires and glaze. Put on your grubbies and come on into the Antelope Studio.
May 29 - 31, Stained Glass Scrap Yard Art, 1 - 4 p.m. or 5 - 7 p.m. Participants in this Workshop will be getting “scrappy” and will have their choice of time if signed up in advance. Found objects, scrap glass, odd metal items, bring on your imagi-nations and work gloves to create vertical yard art to defy the Wyoming Wind. Option two, make a garden stone that stays put in the ground. Lots of items will be available to add to your creative endeavors. Scrap glass, patio stone molds and cement are included in the class cost along with instruction, patterns, use of tools and equipment. The cost is $45. Pre-paid registration requested for materials.

YES ProgramThe Youth Employment Skills
(YES) program is an on-base volunteer program for high school students. YES allows students to “bank” $4 in grant funding for every hour volunteered at a base function. Students may accumulate as much as 250 hours over all four years of high school combined, for a potential maximum of $1,000 toward their future vocational-technical or academic endeavors. Applications may be picked up at the Youth Center. Applications for the 2012-2013 Youth Employment Skills (YES) program are currently available for high school students (grades 9-12).
The YES program allows enrolled high school students to earn money to go toward their post-secondary education/training at a rate of $4 per hour at an on-base position.
KempoThis is an instructional program
designed to teach the fundamentals and importance of sports and exercise as well as physical conditioning.
This class is a combination of both hard and soft styles of martial arts, utilizing hard techniques such as kicking, punching, and blocking, as well as soft techniques similar to Brazilian Jui Ji Tsu. Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Pee Wee (ages 4 - 6), 6 - 6:45 p.m., Juniors (ages 7 - 15), 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. and Seniors (ages 16 & older), 7:45 - 8:45 p.m. Pee Wee class is $30. Other classes, cost is $40. Discounts for more than one family member are available.
