Bert Bedrosian Invented a Life Saving Device Called “The Rizik Todd

Catheter”

Bert Bedrosian is well-known for his inventions in the business world. Recently, he invented an advanced life-saving device known as the “Rizik Todd Catheter”. This device is an administered approach to revascularizing totally blocked arteries. He is the co-inventor of the life-saving cardiac catheter, a tool that is capable of opening totally clogged or occluded arteries without any open heart surgery.

He remarked that the problem with complete occlusions is that a totally blocked artery has no opening from where a guide wire can be inserted, thus restricting other devices like rotobladers, stents, or balloons to be set up within the artery. Thus, a surgeon is left with no choice, and has to perform bypass surgery.

Bert Bedrosian said that the Rizik Todd Catheter helps to center a device utilizing a patented balloon system in an artery to drill through the complete occlusion without punching the artery. After drilling a hole inside the artery, a surgeon can easily insert a guide wire to set up other apparatus to revascularize the clogged artery without carrying out bypass surgery.

He further added that the main role is to center the device so as to drill through the artery to make a passageway for the guide wire. He said that without the advancement of technology and invention of the Rizik Todd Catheter, this procedure would be quite risky, as there is always a chance of perforating the artery through an uncentered guide wire. It can cause severe bleeding and can prove to be fatal.
