Now the question is where to go?

Maybe youre in the mood for a someplace thats hip down to earth. local or eclectic

The type references vintage hand painted signage, and the rocket has a similar feel, with a playfulness to it

Thirsty Script typeface would be used for headers and has that nostalgic hand-written feel

So I decided to change the name to Apollos (referencing the first manned lunar mission)

The mark references the suns light over the edge of earth

Trade Gothic is the header typeface, because it feels, Official, upstanding, sturdy

paired with Scala Sans for the body copy is a more friendly, futuristic look

Ive chosen the pattern to be half toning to reference old printed images, coming back to my attribute of nostalgia

For my third direction I decided to really emphasize the uniqueness by making a more flexible system

The mark is in reference to hash marks on old space photos, and can easily used as a pattern

The visual style of hash marks could also be incorporated into using a thin stroked version of the logo type. I chose to stick to black and white and a neon teal forcolors

the image treatment will be intentionally grainy and mostly b&w, to reference older photos and incorporate the sense of nostalgiacolor images will be paired with black and white images so they dont seem so stark

The glass utilizes the pattern, and makes the beer in your glass feel as if it has been documented and ready for consumption
