BIOGAS
A combustible gas (composed primarily of methane) produced when
Organic waste, sewage or manure is fermented in the absence of
oxygen.
The solid material that remains in the digester after fermentation can be
used as an organic fertilizer.
Biogas - a gas mixture of methane, carbon dioxide and small
quantities of hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide - is created under air exclusion
throughthe fermentation of organic substances with microorganism assistance.
Biogas is a gas mixture, consisting of approximately
40 to 75 % methane (CH4), 25 to 60 % carbon dioxide (CO2), and
approx. 2 % of other gases (hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide).
Night Soil And Food Waste Based Bio-Gas Plant
FEED MATERIAL :Human Excreta, Food waste & Kitchen waste
BENEFITS :1. It improves the cost effectiveness more than any other treatment option for
the life cycle process.2. By production of biogas, the ecological cycle will be closed.3. It significantly reduces CO2, methane emission to air.4. It eliminates odor.5. It produces a compost and nutrient fertilizer.6. It maximizes the benefits of recycling process.RAW MATERIAL :
Besides human excreta and kitchen waste, Cow dung can also be fed.

Anaerobic Bio Gas Reactor
Anaerobic Bio Gas Reactor has a digester in which Bio Degradable materials are fermented to yield a combustible gas. This Gas is called Bio Gas and is used as fuel.

THE PROCESS
The feed materials are collected in the Anaerobic Digester through re routed pipe line.
The slurry is fermented inside the digester and biogas is produced by bacterial action.
The biogas then gets collected into the Dome. The Dome holds the gas until the time of consumption.
The digested slurry is Collected into the outlet tank as a water condition discharged through outlet pipe for irrigation.
The gas pipe line carries the gas to the point of utilization.
Which Material can biogas made from?
Biogas is gained from organic materials. The origin of the substrates can vary,
ranging
from livestock waste, harvest surplus, vegetable oil remains ( Oil Cakes),
materials from household organic waste collection containers.
The evaluation of materials for
implementation in the biogas process depends on their potential attainable yield.
The inflammable biogas is a versatile source of energy, which is now preferably
converted into electricity and heat. In recent years, several biogas plants
were taken in operation in India, with animal manure and organic wastes from
industry and households are fermented.
Apart from conventional materials, Grass can also be fermented due to progress
in the fermentation method: Farmers become "energy hosts" due to the fermentation
of green material. The clean energy from grasslands can easily be transported and
contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases. Fermentation of grass can provide
an ecologically and economically smart contribution to energy production of the
future
