Boiler Operator Course Description: This course is designed to introduce the student to the maintenance and operation of a boiler system. Course work will focus on boiler systems, fittings, accessories, feed water systems, combustion equipment, combustion controls, instrumentation, water treatment, and boiler operation. Upon successful completion of this course, a student should be able to describe the basic elements of a boiler system, the importance of proper maintenance and water treatment, and the operation of the boiler system.
