IL FUTURO INIZIA NEL 1961

La storia è l’impronta che l’uomo lascia nel mondo. Quella di Titici è una linea lunga più di mezzo secolo diretta verso il futuro. Fin dalla nascita abbiamo un pensiero fisso: essere i primi. È per questo che nel 1980 abbiamo brevettato la celebre “Fuego” Bmx; nel 1984 abbiamo lanciato i telai mtb e nel 2007 siamo stati i primi a presentare in Italia una mtb da 29’’. Con Flexy inauguriamo una nuova era tecnologica nella costruzione dei telai. C’è chi rinchiude la tradizione in un museo, per noi è un fuoco da alimentare giorno dopo giorno.

SCIENTIFICAMENTE DIMOSTRATOTest comparativi dell’Università di Parma hanno dimostrato che il telaio Flexy con tecnologia P.A.T. assorbe fino al 18% di vibrazioni in più rispetto a un telaio standard. L’energia generata dalle asperità del terreno viene dissipata, così non si ripercuote sulle mani e sulla schiena del ciclista.

A work of art takes shape

Once we have determined the best geometries on paper, our craftspeople model the carbon to create a unique Titici bike. Tubes are cut to measure and hand assembled using the wrapping technique.

The customer has plenty of time to decide on the colour palette during the process of frame construction, choosing from among the suggested combinations to make his or her Titici bike even more unique. RIDING COMFORTThe F-RI02 frame has a new top tube with P.A.T. technology, the distinctive feature of the entire Flexy line. Great torsional stability and transverse rigidity for racing performance, with increased comfort thanks to a specially shaped tube designed to cut vibrations by up to 18% compared to a standard tube.

AERODYNAMICThe sections of the diagonal tube and saddle tube are made on the basis of the standard NACA profile guaranteeing improved air penetration. The steering/fork tube joint is also made on the basis of a new design facilitating the passage of air to prevent negative turbulence.

INTEGRATIONWhat is innovative about the F-RI02 frame is total integration of cables into the frame. Titici is the world’s first brand to collaborate with FSA technicians on the design of a frame based on their new ACR system. This technology permits application of the “plug-in” solution allowing all the cables to pass through the handlebar. The result is cleaner design and less aerodynamic resistance.

COMFORT DI GUIDA

L’innovazione del telaio F-RI02 è rappresentata dall’integrazione totale dei cavi all’interno del telaio. Titici è stato il primo marchio al mondo ad avere collaborato con i tecnici di FSA nella progettazione di un telaio partendo dal loro nuovo sistema ACR. Questa tecnologia permette di applicare la soluzione “plug-in” per il passaggio di tutti i cavi all’interno del manubrio. Minore resistenza aerodinamica, design più pulito.

F-RI02 represents the evolution of the successful frame that characterised Titici’s first aerodynamic line. The entire design has been revised to create a frame that weighs about 10% less and is now even more aerodynamic and compact, in truly modern style. The F-RI02 is synonymous with speed and power, transmitted from the legs to the pedals with no dispersion. To give the rider a clear competitive edge in every sprint!

Lightweight, simple and elegant. We designed the F-DB02 frame for when the road becomes a vertical wall and twists around the corners of hairpin bends. Weight cut by about 10% over the previous version and custom construction make it the perfect partner for climbs of all kinds. The F-RT01 is a carbon frame for fixed-gear bicycles that challenges the traditional aluminium and steel frames and beats them on their own turf: track and criterium racing. The F-RT01 is faster, more responsive and manoeuvrable in curves than frames made of other materials, but it is also flexible and has a feeling of instant response thanks to its customised, hand-crafted construction. What makes the difference is P.A.T., the technology used in Flexy models to absorb up to 18% more vibrations without affecting overall rigidity.

LE MISURE E LE GEOMETRIE SUGGERITE Abbiamo deciso di riportare le taglie standard dei modelli Titici. Ogni tabella è il frutto di sessant’anni di esperienza dei nostri ingegneri, che hanno studiato le misure e le geo-metrie più adatte: quelle che indichiamo come riferimento ai nostri clienti. A partire da bike fitting professionali realiz-ziamo però prevalentemente telai personalizzati, dove ogni tubo è progettato al millimetro e ogni angolo calcolato al decimo di grado. Il risultato è uno solo: le bici Titici sono perfette per chi ci sale in sella.

OUR SUGGESTED MEASUREMENTS AND GEOMETRIES

We have decided to show the standard sizes of Titici models. Each of these tables is the product of our engineers’ sixty years of experience studying the best measurements and geometries: the ones we recommend our customers use as a reference. But we primarily produce customised frames, beginning with a professional bike fitting, in which every tube is designed down to the millimetre and every angle is calculated to a tenth of a degree. And there is just one result: Titici bicycles perfect for their riders.
