I N G R E D I E N TS

500g plain flour

250g caster sugar

10g baking powder

12g bicarbonate of soda

300ml milk

3 eggs

125ml vegetable oil

15ml vanilla extract

150g frozen raspberries

120g white chocolate drops

Muffin cases

Muffin tin

Put the flour, sugar, baking powderand bicarbonate of soda into alarge bowl and mix well.

Now put the milk, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract intoanother bowl and mix together with the whisk. Start slowly thengo a little faster to make it nice and smooth.

Add the milk mix, raspberries andchocolate drops to the flour mix.

Gently stir together.

Ask an adult to heat the oven to 180°C (350°F, gas mark 4).

Put the paper cases in the muffin tin.

Add a spoonful of mixture to eachmuffin case; be careful not to puttoo much in — they get bigger when they cook!

Bake for 20 minutes, then ask anadult to test them with a skewerto see if they’re cooked all the waythrough. If they’re done, ask an adult to take them out and leave them to cool.

When they’re cool enoughto touch, tuck in.

Great for a picnic when the sun comes out, or for an indoor treat if it’s raining.
