day 2 cHennai – maHabalipuramMorning: Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing tour of Chennai. Chennai, is the capital of Tamil Nadu which is located on the Coromandel coast of the Bay of Bengal. It is the major commercial, culture, economic and education center of India. Visit Fort St. George which was built by the British East Bound Company and houses a little museum also known as Fort museum. Afternoon: Proceed to Mahabalipuram (55 kilometers, approximately 1 hour drive). It was the 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty. Get mesmerized by architecture of the 7th and 9th century monuments which are classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO.
