Look for things in your house that you can use for instruments.If you found a bucket and sticks in last week’s lesson you could use those as your instrument for today.

Activity #3: Make Your Own Instrument!

Sing the song “Play That Rhythm.

When you get to the B, C, and D section

improvise 16 beats on one of the instru-

ments that you have found.

Activity #4: Sing the song “Play That Rhythm”

Activity #5: Compose!

Play the video of this song again and this time play your composition as the B, C, and D sections.

Activity #6: Play Your Composition!

Listen to “Waddally Acha”Play the video again and sing the song.

Activity #7: Play The Song “Waddally Acha”

Write a 16 beat composition that you can play on your instruments as the B section of this song.

You can download and print the PDF composition tem-plate that is given or save paper and write your composi-tion on a piece of paper

Watch the Kids Demo movie for the song Waddally Acha.Find a Boomwhacker or a stick or a wooden spoon and try the movement that the kids are doing in the song.If you have three or four people in your house you can try the movement with your family.that you like.

Repetition is one of the ways that we learn something well.

Children improve singing on pitch, learn the lyr-ics and melody better with each repetition.

Children will develop their musicality if you sing, move, play more often!

Keep a list of the songs and activities that you like.
