These homes will be partially constructed by the low-income owner builders in order to reduce the cost of their homes. It is NOT aPrevailing Wage job. The homes will take approximately 12 months to build and your bids should consider the construction period.Your bids will determine the amount of the home mortgages. As the mortgages cannot be increased after loan approval, neither canyour bids.

Arroyo Grande $4,491,785
The Arroyo Grande Creek flood control channel currently lacks the secondary channels that are found in more natural, low gradientstream environments. Therefore secondary, or overflow channels, would be excavated into areas in the channel that haveaccumulated excess sediment resulting in reduced flood capacity. The excavated secondary channels would be connected with theprimary channels to allow for complex flow conditions that would encourage scour and sediment transport, and reduce the need forfuture sediment removal. No sediment in the primary channel would be excavated. Additionally, a flood wall will be constructed andlarge wood structures would be placed at the confluence of each active and secondary channel connection to enhance aquatic habitat.Other items or detail work not mentioned herein are listed on the Plans, the Standard Specifications, Standard Plans, or the SpecialProvisions.
