Sunday in Ordinary Time. The parable in tonight’s Gospel reading is
about the eternal kingdom of God. It is com-
pared to the story of a king who gave a wed-
ding feast to his son. The king’s servants were
sent to call those who were invited to the wed-
ding feast but they would not come. They did
not want to come. The king then dispatches his
servants: “Go therefore to the main roads and
invite to the wedding feast as many as you
find.” This resulted to the many guests that
came to the wedding feast. But then something unexpected happens.
The king noticed that one of the guests was not
wearing the wedding robe. When asked ….P2

….by the king, he was speechless. He was
then thrown out to the outer darkness where
there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Jesus then summarizes the parable’s meaning:
“For many are called, but few are chosen”. The term “Called” is the invitation of God
that was given to everyone through his ser-
vants. This call bids hearers to repent and be-
lieve the good news the servants proclaimed.
Yet, it is so sad that not everyone responded
to the call properly.
I can’t help but feel sorry to the one who was
not wearing the proper wedding attire. To be
thrown out to the outer darkness where
there’s weeping and gnashing of teeth was an
eternal punishment beyond imagining.
The good news points to all the chosen ones --
- those who sincerely responded to the call
and received Christ in faith. They are the ones
who repented and believed. They are the ones
who saw the value of the theme of this wor-
ship: “We grow in holiness when we heed
God’s invitation to commune with him”. And
when we commune with God, that person
will be guided by God to the right path.
God created us to glorify him. Our Creator
loves us so much that He wants to share his
kingdom with us. Our presence in heaven
then will mean the fulfillment of his creation.
We should always remember though that our
salvation is truly by the grace of God alone.
PROMISE
“God will fully supply whatever you need, in
accord with his glorious riches in Christ Je-
sus.”(Phil 4:19)
“With the Rosary, we allow ourselves to be guided by
Mary, model of faith, in meditating on the mysteries of Christ, and day after day we
are helped to assimilate the Gospel, so that it shapes
all our lives.” — Pope Benedict XVI —

O ne day a colleague of mine heard
the devil say during an exorcism,
"Every Hail Mary is like a blow
on my head. If Christians knew
how powerful the Rosary was, it would be my
end." The secret that makes this prayer so ef-
fective is that the Rosary is both prayer and
meditation. It is addressed to the Father, to the
Blessed Virgin, and to the Holy Trinity, and is
a meditation centered on Christ.
The Eternal Father described to a group of us,
through a Visionary Friend of mine, what
happens when we pray the Rosary, say-
ing "When you pray Holy Mary Mother of
God, pray for us sinners now....., the Blessed
Mother comes instantly to your side to pray
with you. And she does not come alone. She
brings angels with her. And not just one or
two for she is the Queen of Angels, so choirs
of angels come with her. And she and Jesus are
joined at the heart and cannot be separated so
she brings Jesus with her. And Jesus cannot be
separated from the Trinity so He brings the
Father and the Holy Spirit with Him. And
where the Holy Trinity is, all of creation is,
and you are surrounded by such beauty and
light as you cannot imagine in this life. Your
Mother comes as Our Lady of Grace with her
hands outstretched. Rays of light emit from
her hands piercing your body, healing you and
filling you with graces. This is your inheri-
tance which was poured out from the heart of
Jesus on the Cross, when the centurion pierced
His Heart with the spear, into the only pure
vessel ready to receive such graces at that
time, Your Mother."
Spread this powerful prayer of exorcism, the
Rosary, which contains the Our Father, the
Perfect Prayer, prayed five times in the recita-
tion of each set of the Rosary's Mysteries,
backed up by the powerful prayers of Our
Mother who prays with us as we pray 53 Hail
Mary's.
Now as you pray the Rosary, or even just re-
cite one Hail Mary, you receive your portion
of these graces. He also said at this time,
"Anyone who goes to Mary and prays the Ro-
sary cannot be touched by Satan."
Is it any wonder that anyone who prays the
Rosary from the heart is so blessed and pro-
tected and powerful in their prayers for oth-
ers?
Beautiful Reasons for Saying the Rosary The following text of Father Gabriel Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican , is taken from an is-
sue of “Echo of Mary, Queen of Peace” and shared by Menchu Ealdama.
