Buckeridge Group of Companies - BGC news and reviews

BULLETINBGC Development - Topping out milestone achieved for exclusive Aloft Hotel

BGC’s directors, Julian Ambrose, Andrew Buckeridge, Sam Buckeridge and Andrew Teo would like to take this opportunity to thank you - our clients, suppliers, BGC colleagues and all the Group’s stakeholders countrywide - for your valued support during the past year.

In the past 12 months we have continued to grow and expand our product and service offerings and geographic spread across Australia. The resourcefulness and enterprising spirit of our people has propelled the delivery of innovative and high quality products and services to our customers. A number of those commercial achievements have been chronicled in the pages of the re-launched BGC Bulletin.

While a number of milestones have been reached in 2016, the most significant has been BGC’s acquisition of family-owned DIAB Engineering, an established industrial maintenance and fabrication services business. The former owners of DIAB, the Payne family, have, over decades, built an impressive business, the strengths of which we are exercising care to preserve and enhance.

We are proud of what we have achieved together, and we’re pleased that this year’s re-launch of the BGC Bulletin allows us to showcase the work we do across our many business divisions. Thank you to the team who contribute to the ongoing production of this quality publication.

We’d like to thank you again for your valued support and wish you and yours a very safe and Merry Christmas and a happy and successful New Year.

“We have been assessing suitable acquisition opportunities to diversify our existing suite of contract mining and construction services, and broaden our geographical spread,” Greg said.

“This acquisition deepens our service offering and is a natural extension to our core business, with DIAB’s specialist capabilities including construction, engineering, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, and equipment hire.”

“Our durable precast products, including concrete beams and hollowcore planks, were used to create a reinforced concrete structure, which lent itself to a simplified installation method.
