Mathematics Competition Results Well done to all of our award winners in the 2013 University of NSW Mathematics Competition. They were: Distinction Awards (Top 10% of entrants) Olivia Douglas, Amber Devereux, Hayden James Credit Awards (Top 25% of entrants) Shane Brown, Alex Dick, Rebecca Douglas, Isabella Ferguson, Sam McKindlay & Ruby Donovan End of Year Fun Day The students will celebrate the end of the school year by traveling to Echuca on Friday the 13th of December where they will go Ten Pin Bowling in the morning and to the Paramount Theatre after lunch to view the movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Further details and permission notes will be sent home closer to the date. All welcome. Super 8’s Cricket The Annual Super 8’s Cricket Days in Deniliquin will be held on Wednesday the 20th of November (Year 3/4) and Thursday the 21st (Year 5/6). Parents will need to transport their children to and from Deniliquin on the day as play starts too early for us to use the buses. Further information and permission notes will be sent home closer to the date. Great Bunnaloo Bike Ride We had a fantastic ride on Friday. Thanks to Bernard & Jenny James for hosting our end of ride lunch, cooking the barbecue and keeping all of the riders well fed and hydrated. Thanks to Jenny James, Barry Moyle, Anthony Couroupis, Karlie Verbeek and Kristy Dargan who rode with us on the day, and to John Douglas, Ann Stuart & Anne Brown who drove the support vehicles and manned our drink stops. A special thanks also to Constable Belinda Aimes from Moama Police who provided a police escort and excellent company throughout the ride. Without support like this, great experiences like these just couldn’t happen. Well done to all of our students who completed the 28km ride. Here’s looking forward to next years ride. P. & C. Jasper McKindlay - Consistent effort with homework. Rebecca Douglas - Getting great results in number. Ryan Dargan - Showing initiative and volunteering to do jobs.
