Multidisciplinary team approachThis course is aimed at any health professional – Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics, anyone
who is likely to come in to contact and care for a person with a burn injury.
Content includes: ◥ Initial care and first aid, primary and secondary survey of the burn injured person ◥ Assessment and transfer of a major burn ◥ Fluid resuscitation for paediatric and adult burns ◥ Burn wound assessment ◥ Referral and transferring ◥ Burn wound dressings ◥ Multidisciplinary workshops ◥ Surgical Intervention ◥ Major incident awareness
