History“Necessity is the mother of invention”

Sail’a Vie is a boat company founded in 2016 headquartered in Marseille.

A year ago, five international classmates graduating from their MBA degree in IAE de Bordeaux came up with the idea of creating their own business. This dream was nurtured in their last semester of school, and triggered by the desire to remain in Europe, work together, and the hardship of finding an internship.

Sail’a Vie comes from the well known saying in France “C’est la vie” that also describes their quotidian life and adventurous stories in France.

In 2016 we organized quarterly boating trips for schools and

hold sailing workshops to plant the passion for sailing.

Marketing strategy

Sail’a vie aims to offer the right boat for each customer’s needs

and aspires to have a diversified portfolio of products.

For this, we produce three boat models. However, after

analyzing the market, we adjust our production according to

the market’s needs.
