Thursday, May 12th’s black-tie gala at the Fairmont Ho-tel Vancouver was the scene of the 11th annual Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremonies. Created by JA British Columbia (JABC), the Hall of Fame honours those who helped build our province and inspires youth to become the Laureates of tomorrow. The 2016 Laureate inductees are:

■ Dr. A.E. “Dal” Grauer, (1906-1961), President and Chairman, British Columbia Power Corporation, BC Electric Company

■ Ian Telfer, Chairman of the Board, Goldcorp Inc. Proceeds from the Gala support JABC’s work to provide financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs free of charge to over 35,000 youth across the province each year.
