By WUliam E. Griffin Halcottville, April 9 Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Vermilya of Richfield Springs visited last Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott H. Clark. The Vermilyas were at at one time residents of this locality. Mr. and Mrs. William A. Davis were in East Branch last Wednesday to visit their daugh- ter, Mrs. Arley Hadden, and family there. The Hubbell brothers below this village have made about 150 gallons of maple syrup this spring following a late tapping season and cold weather since tapping. Lloyd A. Finch entered the Albany Medical center in Al- bany last Wednesday for treat- ment. He expects to toe there about a month. Ralph Eignor is still in Hom- er Folks hospital in Oneonta for treatment. He is improved. Mrs. George Tischmacher and daughter, Vicki, of Roxbury and Mrs. Howard Greene of Denver visited at the home of Mrs. Greene’s father, Elder Amasa J. Slauson, at Kingston Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Vermilya of Richfield Springs visited last Saturday afternoon a t the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott H. Clark. The Vermilyas w ere a t a t one time residents of this locality.

Mr. and Mrs. William A. Davis were in E ast Branch last Wednesday to visit their daugh­ter, Mrs. Arley Hadden, and family there.

The Hubbell brothers below th is village have made about 150 gallons of maple syrup this spring following a late tapping season and cold w eather since tapping.

Lloyd A. Finch entered the Albany Medical center in Al­bany last Wednesday for tre a t ­ment. He expects to toe there about a month.

Ralph Eignor is still in Hom­er Folks hospital in Oneonta for treatm ent. He is improved.

Mrs. George Tischmacher and daughter, Vicki, of Roxbury and Mrs. Howard Greene of Denver visited a t the home of Mrs. Greene’s father, E lder Amasa J. Slauson, a t Kingston Friday.
