CITY-WIDE SPRING CLEANUP 2018 NOTICE TO RESIDENTS All appliances and brown goods (electronics) need to have a sticker on them. Computer monitors and televisions will require a special $25.00 sticker. Stickers will only be available at City Hall during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you plan to bring appliances or brown goods to the disposal site, you will need to get your stickers ahead of time. Each garbage paying household will be given two free stickers for appliances or brown goods (except monitors and TVs). Additional stickers will cost $15.00 each. We will no longer be accepting tires during Spring Cleanup. Tires can be hauled directly to Central Disposal where a fee per tire can be paid. Only major appliances will be picked up at the curb. All appliances must be empty. These items will be picked up on your regular garbage day. Please have them at the curb by 7:00 a.m. of your regular garbage day. There will be no small items picked up at the curb. Anything at the curb other than major appliances must be in the City garbage container. All items that you would like to dispose of can be brought to the disposal site, west of the Creamery, on the following dates: 7 A.M. – 5 P.M., OR UNTIL FULL, SATURDAY, MAY 12 CLOSED ON SUNDAY 7 A.M. – 7 P.M. MONDAY, MAY 14 THROUGH THURSDAY, MAY 17 Please do not bring recyclable items to the disposal site. We will NOT be accepting the following items: oil, paint, batteries, household chemicals and cleaners. Residents unable to haul their large items to the disposal site may call City Hall 592-3251 or Public Works 592-2441 prior to May 11 and arrangements will be made to pick up the items. Leaves and brush may also be brought to the disposal site, if the gate is locked you MUST wait until the next working day to unload. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please take your leaf bags or containers with you.
