The three-storey boutique features an

each house evolving in its own distinct
universe. The ground floor plays host
to the leading names in traditional fine
watch making with Rolex, Blancpain,
Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Tudor and
Vacheron Constantin.
Up on the first floor the most prestigious
houses can be found in an exclusive,

And here, too, the fine watches from
Carl F. Bucherer enjoy an exclusive
presence. The house possesses a strong
identity as a watchmaker through the
Carl F. Bucherer brand, whose
manufacture is located in Saint-Croix,
Switzerland. The brand is the heir

offering a range of watches that are the

luxury landscape. It all began towards the
end of the 19th century when
Carl F. Bucherer and his wife Luise
opened a store dedicated to watches
and jewellery in Luzern, Switzerland,
a charming city of turrets and spires,
cobblestone streets and fountains
tucked away on the luxuriant shores of
Lake Lucerne. The house’s success was
practically instantaneous and Bucherer
acquired a reputation that rapidly spread
beyond local shores. When
Carl F. Bucherer’s two sons Ernst and Carl
Eduard joined the firm at the beginning
of the 20th century, they entered into
a house whose business was booming
and reputed for its remarkable sense of
service, a wide choice and the know-how
of the arts and craftsmen in its workshop
as well as an appreciative and demanding
clientele. The brothers each specialised
in a domain, watch making for Ernst and
jewellery for Carl Eduard. Under their
guidance the reputation of the firm would
continue to grow. The family flame passed
to the third generation in 1977 and the
current President of the group is
Jörg G. Bucherer.

making expertise and so it is this unique
heritage that Bucherer brings to Paris with
the store offering an exclusive range of
exceptional services. Inside the
three-layered shop a unique scenario is
being played out. The art of impeccable
service. A warm, multilingual welcome
awaits from an experienced and expertly

The house refers to it as the Bucherer
Moment and it is that time when each sale
advisor listens closely to the customer’s
wishes and spends the time necessary
to find the perfect watch or piece of
jewellery, for time at Bucherer is precious.

gastronomy or simple, finely prepared fare. And a long lunch provides a perfect

over lunch for business or pleasure is essentially a two-hour affair and the
garden of the Michelin starred Laurent provides the perfect setting for a
memorable moment. Or the mood of the moment might be towards a room with a view and fine cuisine on the terrace of
the Maison Blanche. Meanwhile for a lingering Left Bank getaway, fine traditional French cuisine can be
partaken of at Allard, a great favourite with Parisians.
