Calculation of GPA If you wish to calculate your overall GPA, include all courses. For your Barnard GPA (this is the cumulative GPA that is now printed on Barnard transcripts), include only courses taken during the academic year while you were a registered Barnard student, but not study leave or summer school work. For your major GPA, include only courses that constituted your major. For your science GPA, include courses in the sciences. Total the number of points you have for each grade (e.g., 12 points of A-) and enter the totals in the gray boxes below. (You can tab from one box to the next.) GPA will be calculated to two decimal places.
