CA Service Virtualization Helps Speed Releases, Boost Quality and Reduce Cost in SAP Environments Service virtualization helps remove the development constraints associated with unavailable systems, conflicting delivery schedules and data volatility. When employing this approach, organizations capture and simulate the behavior, data and performance characteristics of dependent systems, and deploy a virtual service that represents the dependent system. As a result, organizations can remove the constraints posed by related environments or developers’ manually generated labs and test data. A good analogy for how service virtualization works is the development of an airplane. Engineers don’t wait until a plane is fully assembled to test it.
