Customs Entry Summary The Entry Summary is used by Custom and Border Protection to determine relevant information regarding imported commodities. If filed electronically, Box 1 will be completed. If not electronically filed there will be an official signature with date (see example 2). DVS does not require the original, a photocopy is sufficient.

Declaration for Free Entry of Unaccompanied Articles If a moving company brings across a vehicle along with other household goods a form 3299 might be used instead of the 7501. This is considered valid as long as there is a signature in Section VII.

New Vehicle Information Statement (NVIS) Minnesota does not accept the New Vehicle Information Statement as valid proof of ownership.
