The City of Adelanto recently approved a progressive approach to stimulating financial growth in the city: the permit-ted use of Medical Marijuana Cultivation. The measure allows use in ( MI- Manufacturing / Industrial, LM- Light Man-ufacturing & ADD - Airport Development District) , specified industrial zones recently increased to about 2,000 Acres. Improved properties and vacant land in the designated area have been selling quickly boosting the city’s economy.

The High Desert Corridor (E-220) is a vital east / west trucking and logistics freeway linking the greater Los Angeles basin with the High Desert.
