God created us as precious pearls. Jesus paid the great price to redeem us. With Him, we are about

protecting and reclaiming His pearls. All are welcome to come alongside us in this endeavor .

You have probably heard of Human Trafficking but do you know It is happening in our neighborhoods!

What is being done about this? What is Human Trafficking? It is the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act or sometimes forced labor.

Carrie Wood, Founder of Pearls of Great Price Coalition will be sharing information on this heinous crime that has crept into our midst. She will show a short video presentation to emphasize education and to call to action. She will be available for questions.

“I always thought that loving someone is the greatest feeling, but I realized that loving a friend is even better. We

lose people we love, but we never lose true friends.”

Nancy Ellenberger, Membership

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE I would like to thank Michelle Jasewicz for her excellent planning, securing prizes, and management of our first Mini Quarter Auction. We were able to offer members and guests 27 prizes to bid on and enjoyed Jimmy John’s sandwiches while raising $343.44 for our charity.

Be sure to come to our next meeting, April 5th with a presentation by Carrie Wood concerning local Human Trafficking. Bring a friend because this is a topic we all need to be aware of.

Melissa Kersten, our Sponsor from Heartland Healthcare will tell us a little about their facility.

We are in need of a few people to help next season. It is true that we all have busy lives, so if everybody does a little, we can keep the jobs small and the club will be enjoyable for all. One way you can help is by coming to a Board Meeting and giving us your input in the planning. The following Board and Interest Group positions are available:

President, Vice President, Advertising, Lady Bookworms co-leader, Happy Thursday, Interest Group Coordinator, & Let’s Do Dinner. Sharing a job is an excellent option! Please volunteer to help our club. Thank You, Cindy Koldys, President
