what’s your favourite (or funniest) memory of your mum? In hong kong, we went to a zoo and mum laughed at something the macaws were saying, so the macaws were mimicking her laugh, which led to mum laughing louder and the birds copying her more, until she had to run away from them!

what was it like working with your mum? she always showed me to consider that everyone is on their own life journey and try not to judge others as you don’t know their story.

if money were no object, what would you give your mum for mother’s day? I would fly her to paris to sit back and drink coffee and eat croissants with the eiffel Tower in view.


if money were no object, what would you give your mum for mother’s day? I’d send her on a relaxing overseas vacation. she works extremely hard and deserves some time off.

what is it like working with your mum? To be honest, working with mum has it’s ups and downs. but in saying that, it means I can watch her in her work environment and witness how much effort she puts into what she does.

what’s the funniest or favourite thing about your mum? she’s going to kill me for putting this in a magazine, but my funniest memory of my mum is every time she’s dancing. she has her own little dance floor at the shop (dancing from the counter to the storeroom).

the best advice your mum ever gave you? It’s a family favourite and her mum used to say it to her “what’s for you, won’t go past you.” which is all about trusting in the natural process of of life and not getting caught up in the small stuff.

what’s the funniest or favourite memory of your mum? My favourite memory of my mum would be a special moment we shared on my wedding day.
